Grant Burger has worked with his hands for as long as he can remember.
At fifteen Grant took his first production job as a screen printer, sparking a realization that he felt most comfortable in a shop, with music playing and a cup of coffee, creating beautiful things with his mind and hands.
After leaving the Marine Corps in 2011, Grant returned to where he felt most comfortable, in a print shop. But this did not satisfy his craving for creativity. Soon he found an outlet in his garage with a circular saw and an antique hand plane.
Grant completed the two year Construction Technology program at Triangle Tech in Pittsburgh, PA and is completing the two year Cabinet and Furniture Making program at the North Bennet Street School in Boston, MA.
Today Grant is a professional woodworker, skilled in the making of custom and reproduction furniture pieces. cabinetry, and all accompanying forms of wood fabrication.
